Tilson Tracker Day 300

Three Hundred Days of Disruption, Delay, and Disrespect
Today marks 300 days since the Gigapower project and Tilson Technologies began tearing through our neighborhoods. What should have been a streamlined, community-conscious fiber installation has become a prolonged case study of how not to manage public infrastructure work.
Despite nearly a full year of broken sidewalks, torn-up roads, inaccessible school zones, illegally towed cars, and ADA violations, the City of Las Vegas continues to allow this project to expand into new areas, rewarding failure instead of demanding accountability.
What’s Still Happening on Day 300:
Restoration continues to lag behind destruction. New areas are opened before old ones are restored.
Safety violations continue to be a daily occurrence, including unmarked work zones, missing flaggers, and traffic hazards.
Sidewalks remain blocked or destroyed, with no accessible detours, leaving those with disabilities at risk.
Contractors come and go, with new names but the same behavior: disregard for permits, procedures, and people.
We’ve passed 300 days and still:
No transparent restoration timeline for the public
No centralized reporting on outstanding fines or violations
No consistent enforcement of traffic control or ADA compliance
No meaningful apology or public acknowledgment from Tilson or Gigapower
The City must recognize what 300 days have made abundantly clear: this is not an isolated case of miscommunication or project delay. This is systemic mismanagement.
Gigapower has lost the public’s trust. Tilson has shown it does not deserve a second chance. And residents should not have to sacrifice safety, mobility, or dignity for internet access they didn’t even request.
If you’re a resident of Upland, Alta, the Springs Preserve Area, or anywhere else next on Tilson’s map, don’t wait for day one. Start documenting now.
Because once this begins on your street, it doesn’t end at 5, 15, 45, or 90 days. It doesn’t even end at 300.
